Where can we find a reputed retailer? – These are a few questions that we often ask to get a better performance from our PC. Undoubtedly, bigger memory size of any RAM results into more data storage. One can easily notice the difference in speed & efficiency after upgrading RAM from 128MB to 256MB or 512MB to 1GB or 1GB to 2GB. But while choosing a computer RAM, we should be aware of some basic facts about this sensitive part of our computer.
Computer RAM or Random Access Memory is one such crucial part that provides a temporary data storage. For general use, we can choose from a wide range of SDRAMs & DDR RAMs. SDRAM, usually compatible with Pentium 2 or Pentium 3 processor systems, is rapidly becoming obsolete. With advanced technology, the computers today are manufactured with a high compatibility factor towards DDR RAM or DDR2 RAM. To add to the list, DDR3 RAM is the recent invention that takes the computer efficiency to another higher level.

Therefore, it is advised to go through the manual of computer first before purchasing an additional RAM to upgrade your PC. Obviously, there would be no use of additional higher RAM if your system’s motherboard belongs to an old version & it is not compatible with the type of RAM you have purchased.
